Christophe Hondelatte is a Journaliste French radio and of television.

Biography

Christophe Hondelatte was born with Bayonne in 1962. In 1984, it is graduate Institut of political studies of Bordeaux.

Beginnings at Radio France (1985-2000)

Between 1985 and 1988, Christophe Hondelatte works successively with Radio France Pays Basque, Radio France Berry Southern and Northern Frequency. In 1989, it joined France Info.

The passage to RTL (2000-2004)

The 13 hours failure of France 2 (September 2004 - January 2005)

From the September 6th 2004, Christophe Hondelatte presents a new formula of the 13 hour old newspaper of the public channel. With this new “13 hours”, the director of the information of France 2, Arlette Chabot, wished to reconquer market shares vis-a-vis the newspaper of Jean-Pierre Pernaut on the concurrent chain TF1.

Friday January 28th 2005, following the publication of one carried in the daily newspaper Libération , Christophe Hondelatte decides not to present the newspaper of the semi-day more and leaves the drafting abruptly. This decision was disputed in an official statement of the Company of the journalists (SDJ) of France 2, where certain journalists of the drafting denounce the “inadmissible” character of this choice. According to, to appoint them a former journalist who gave up the Newspaper of 13:00 following the attacks of Libération , is a “provocation”. The return to RTL (2005)
