Christophe Glaser (or Christophle ) is a Pharmacie N Suisse, born the 1629 with Basle and died towards 1672.
It makes its studies of medicine and pharmacy to the Université of Basle. After those, he travels in Europe, in particular in Carniole, Hungary and Transylvania where he studies in particular the mines.
In the years 1650, it opens a dispensary with Paris. Antoine Vallot, superintendent of the Garden of the king, offers to him the pulpit of chemistry become vacant after the departure of Nicaise Febvre in 1660. But in 1665, Guy-Crescent Fagon receives the second pulpit of chemistry to replace Urbain Baudinot. Glaser is then seen constrained to become the assistant of Fagon, which was done not without conflict. It ends up leaving its function in 1671.
It was a time suspected of having made the poison used by the marchioness of Brinvilliers in the Affaire of the poisons .
It publishes in 1663 with Paris, the Traicté of the chymy, teaching by a briève and easy method all its more necessary preparations which comprises certain part of Alchimie. Its treaty is based on five principles: the spirit, salt, sulfur, water and ground.
