Christophe Gadbled , born with Saint-Martin-the-Ebullient (Handle) in 1734 and dead the October 11th 1782 with Caen, was professor of Mathématiques and hydrogeography to the Université of Caen.

Christophe Gadbled remained in the Histoire of sciences to have formed Pierre-Simon Laplace.
