Christophe Castaner

Christophe Castaner is a Politician French, born with Manosque, the January 3rd 1966.

In March 2001, Christophe Castaner is elected mayor of Forcalquier, by beating the candidate RPR, Pierre Delmar.

At the time of the regional elections of 2004, Christophe Castaner it was represented top of the list, in the Alp-of-High-Provence.

June 10th, 2007, with list PS-PRG-MRC, it collected 28,46% of the votes to the first turn of the legislative elections, in ballotage with the candidate UMP Daniel Spagnou 46,25%, in the second district of Alp-of-High-Provence, but at the time of the second turn it is beaten with 46,03%.

President of the the Community of communes of the Country of Forcalquier and Montagne of Lure.

Member of the National council of the PS.

Vice-president of the District council of Provence-Alp-Coast-in Azur.

He announced his candidature for the next municipal elections of 2008 for Forcalquier.
