The christocentrism is an expression of the Christian doctrines which place Christ in the center of theology and spirituality.
Jean-Paul II affirms in Catechesi tradendae that any authentic catechesis is christocentric, and this in three ways: 1) Christ is taught as being the way, the truth and the life, 2) teaching is authentically Christian and 3) it is made through the successors of the apostles in communion with Pierre.
In the apostolic Lettre Mane Nobiscum Domine , it is known as that the devotion of the rosary has a deep sense, biblical and christocentric. The devotion mariale is thus taught like an expression of deep respect towards the Son of man.
