Christmas of Tissot

Christmas of Tissot (1914-1944) is a Collaborationniste French, important leader of the French Milice, paramilitary organization of the Régime of Vichy aiming at helping the occupant Nazi to pursue the resistant , the Juifs and the refractories with STO.

Biography

Born the December 22nd 1914, Christmas of Tissot combat Germans in 1940 receiving the Military Cross as regimental sergeant major in the Artillery.

It joined the Légion of the Combatants, of which he is the general secretary for the the Alpes-Maritimes and takes part in the drafting of the program of the Service of order legionary of which he became the general secretary on March 13rd, 1942. This program will be also that of the French Milice. At the conclusion of the change of the GROUND towards the French Militia, it is named Principal private secretary of the general secretary of the Milice. He is the creator of Gamma like emblem of the Milice.

During the creation of the French Waffen-SS, it belongs to the officers of framing, obtaining at the conclusion of its training course with Bad Tölz the W rank Obersturmführer (equivalent with lieutenant). He dies in Galicie with the combat during the summer 1944 in time that officer of the Sturmbrigade S Frankreich.
