Christine Chapel

Christine Chapel is a character pertaining to the universe of fiction of Star Trek , and more particularly of the original series, interpreted by the actress Majel Barrett.

Biography

This pretty nurse is the assistant of the doctor McCoy on board the Enterprise ordered by James Kirk.

Promised with a bright future on Ground as biologist, it is committed on board the Enterprise only finding its been engaged doctor Roger Korby. It finds it on the planet Exo III into 2266 but he dies quickly. Christine Chapel then decides to remain on the vessel.

Thereafter, one learns that it fell in love with Spock, a love obviously without hope (see Star Trek, the original series : the crew in madness - The Naked Time ).

Of return to earth, after a five years mission, this brilliant biologist resumes his studies. She must however stop them to join the Enterprise into 2271 as a doctor (see Star Trek: The Film ). She finishes her career with Starfleet with the rank of commander.
