Christiane Schwartz is a Engineer French which was illustrated in the field of telecommunications.
Biography
Born on June 6th, 1947, qualified engineer of the University of electricity in 1969, doctor of speciality (3rd cycle) in quantum optic in 1973.Christiane Schwartz joined France Telecom in 1969, with the Hundred (currently France Telecom Division R & D) in the nonlinear “optical” service, then with the CCETT (Common Center of Studies of Remote transmission and Télécommunications), where it takes part in work on the Vidéotex and the Teletex - service of email not to be confused with the teletext, on which it also worked. She contributes to the birth of the Minitel and accompanies her launching.
From 1981, Christiane Schwartz controls with the Head office of Telecommunications (DGT) the industrial development of the multi-media sector transport/directories/.
In 1990, Christiane Schwartz takes responsabilities with the CCETT, of which it becomes Directeur in 1995. In 1999, she sees herself entrusting the creation of the Management of the Innovation, in load of the projects “corporate” for the whole of the group France Telecom For this reason she animates the development of the strategy of innovation of the group.
Since July 1st, 2004, it is special adviser of the Executive director in load of division R & D. Christiane Schwartz is member of the advisory committee for the field of STIC (CCSTIC) near the Ministry for Research.
It is also member of the Board of directors of the subsidiary company of capital risks of France Telecom, of the Board of directors of INRIA, and the Board of directors of the FING. It was indicated member of the room of experts attached to the European commission for the program E-Europe. It is President of the Pole of Competence Image and Networks.
