Christian of Malène
Christian Lunet of Malène , (born on December 5th, 1920 with Nimes and dead on September 26th, 2007), is a Homme political French, figure Parisian line.
Biography
Wire of general, Christian of Malène was raises with the college of Grenoble and the Lycée Saint-Louis. After being itself committed in the army at 18 years, it obtains a doctorate with the Faculty of Law of Paris and becomes sociologist.Administrative secretary of the group RPF of the Senate in 1948, it meets Michel Debré and divides his combat against CED and the EEC. He fights against the Fourth Republic.
Elective functions
He is elected Député UNR then UDR then RPR of the XIVe district of Paris in 1958, re-elected in 1967, 1968 and 1973. He sat at the National Assembly until in 1977. Its mandate of member of Parliament is then stopped by twice, during its nominations to the government, in 1961 as Secretary of State to information, and in 1968 as Minister for the scientific research and the atomic and space questions. He is elected Senator RPR then UMP of Paris of 1977 with 2004.He was also member of the the European Parliament of 1959 with 1994 and chaired the gaullist group of this Parliament. He also belonged to the parliamentary Assemblée of the SOEC.
City council man in Paris of 1965 at 1977, he was general reporter of the budget of the capital. It dealt much with the installation of the Markets.
Governmental functions
- Secretary of State near the Prime Minister, in charge of the Information of the Government Michel Debré from August 24th, 1961 to April 14th, 1962.
- Minister in charge for the Scientific research and the atomic and space questions of the Government Georges Pompidou (5) from May 31st to July 10th, 1968.
Engagements
He was member of the committee of honor of the Mouvement initiative and freedom.
In 1981, it supported the candidature of Michel Debré for the presidential election.
He was opposed to the Traité of Maastricht and the euro. He had issued reserves on the intervention of NATO in Serbia in 1999
