Christian Troy

Christian Troy is one of the fictitious characters principal of the Televised series Nip/Tuck , interpreted by Julian McMahon.

Its ambition pushed it to become best the Chirurgien plastics technician of Miami with its associate and friendly Sean McNamara. Compared with Sean, Christian does not have scruples, it adores the money, the sport scars and especially it is obsessed by the Sexe. It collects the girls one evening old.

Conscious of the vanity of its existence, it tries to cure it, but in vain. Only a son could leave there, and he believes being the father of the child of one of his mistresses, Gina. But it proves that this child is not it his and that the father claims it. Moreover, Christian learns that he is the biological father of Matt, the supposed son of Sean, which causes a brawl between them and fissures for a time their friendship.

Several months later, Sean agrees to look after the victims of the “Découpeur”, which makes of him its next victim. Sean awaited the visit of the “Carver”, but it is Christian who is aimed. Christian is thereafter suspected of being the “Carver” and decree by the detective Kit McGraw (who was also his mistress) in the third season.

Christian remains a deeply unhappy man. During the series, it evokes its difficult childhood on several occasions: it was given up by his mother (adult, it will discover that it was born from a rape) and his/her adoptive father made him undergo sexual maltreatment. Christian ended up losing the faith, which makes its first name very ironic: in English, " Christian" is not only one first name, but also the term which means " chrétien".
