Christian Tissier

Christian Tissier (born in 1951) is one of the European professors of Aïkido most known. It started to practice the aikido child, in 1962, and was disciple of Mutsuro Nakazono with Paris until it leaves for Tōkyō in 1969. It went to the Aïkikai Hombu Dojo at the 18 years age, and involved itself there during seven years. Among the professors who inspired it there is Seigo Yamaguchi, Kisaburo Osawa and the second doshu Kisshōmaru Ueshiba.

It receipt the seventh daN in 1998, and is among the handle of Westerners to whom were given the title Shihan by the Aikikai.
