Christian Pierret

Christian Pierret , born the March 12th 1946 with Bar-le-Duc, is a Politician French.

Biography

He is born in a family of tradition catholic, his Jean father being engineer of Arts and trades and the Naval college, and directing of company.

He chooses studies of economic scenes, of which he obtains the diploma of higher learning in 1970. He is several times prize winner of the open competition of the faculty of the Economic scenes of Paris. Raise ENA (promotion Charles de Gaulle (1972)), it founds there a section CFDT correspondent with his sensitivity of social catholic. He enters in policy to the sides of Jacques Delors. Scientific engagement

Christian Pierret founded in 1990, the International festival of geography being based on the legitimacy of the town of Saint-Dié in this field (“godmother of America”). It became since an event annual and international recognized where the scientific community is with go. By his action and his national and international influence, Christian Pierret, as a President-Founder succeeded in imposing this make annual where topics after topics is made an inventory of fixtures of planet. This go allows to be based on the geography in order to establish the link between the questions raised by the other social sciences which are the economy, ecology, geopolitics… In a preoccupation of popularization and a teaching, it took care that this scientific festival is accessible to all the public ones.
