Christian Martell
Christian Martell , of his true name Lucien Montet, born with Saint-Etienne the March 14th 1914 and deceased the August 31st 1945 with Ouston, with the the United Kingdom, is a resistant soldier and French.
Sergeant chief at the training school of piloting of Stamps in 1937, it is affected at the flying school of Living room-of-Provence in 1939 when the war bursts. After a first escape bid in November 1940, it succeeds in gaining London in March 1942. It accepts missions for the BCRA (central Bureau of information and action of the free French Forces) and is parachuted in France in May 1942 where it assembles a network of escape. Then it regains the England.
In January 1943, Christian Martell integrates the Groupe of hunting Alsace ( No 341 Free French Squadron ) under the command of Rene Mouchotte, of which it orders the Strasbourg flotilla. It gains its first air victory the May 25th 1943. In December 1943, it takes the command of the Alsace group. It finishes the war with six approved victories.
August 31st, 1945, it commits suicide in the plane with Ouston. It is buried with Paris, with the Cimetière of the Father-Lachaise.
