Christian Gottlieb Gmelin , born the October 12th 1792 and dead the May 13rd 1860, is a German chemist .
Gmelin is professor of Chimie and Pharmacie at the university of Tübingen. In 1828, it is one of the first to manufacture overseas blue dye artificially.
