Christian Girard
Christian Girard was born the September 15th 1915 in Paris, of family Protesting E, bachelor of law, graduate of the Private school of Political sciences, Christian Girard engages as of June 1940 in the free French Forces. Captain with the staff of the 2nd armor-plated division, he will be the aide-de-camp of the future Maréchal Leclerc which he follows since the operations of Chad until the catch of Berchtesgaden, in Germany, during the second world war. He is made Compagnon of the Release on August 7th, 1945. In 1945, it is integrated within the frameworks of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs where it will be, in particular, associated Consul with Calcutta (1947), second Secretary with Teheran (1950-1954), second Secretary with Luxembourg (1955), second adviser with Bern (1959-1962). From 1976 to 1980, it is named Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary France with the Kenya, before taking its retirement. It is deceased the July 24th 1985 and its funerals took place in the reformed church of the Annunciation in Paris.
