Christian Fechner

Christian Fechner is a producer, scenario writer and French realizer born in 1944 with Agen (France).

Historically, it is one of the most important producers of the French cinema. It produced some of greatest successes of the French cinema since the Années 1970, generally of comic films.

Biography

Christian Fechner is at the beginning Prestidigitateur. However, noticing high-speed motorboats which like on the other side of the channel and which do not have French-speaking counterpart ( Sony and Cher , Donovan ), it decides to go to see the persons in charge of the discs Vogue with singers being located in this unoccupied crenel. Decade 80 is ostentation for Christian Fechner who produces films with the high-speed motorboats of the time: Jacques Villeret, Christian Clavier, Isabelle Adjani, Gerard Depardieu, Gerard Lanvin, Bernard Giraudeau, Thierry Lhermitte or Anemone.

The Nineties are less profitable. Christian Fechner produces several films which should have been great successes but which were not really it, with the image of a love of witch, All must disappear or a chance on two, which however joined together mythical the Jean-Paul Belmondo and Alain Delon.

If the years 2000 are not announced under best the auspices, Christian Fechner however makes a paperboard by producing the return of Splendid. Bronzed 3 - Friends for the life attract indeed nearly 10.000.000 spectators.

Anecdotes

In the Animal (1977), film produced by Christian Fechner, Jean-Paul Belmondo interprets the double role of an actor and his lining for a film with great budget. The producer of this film, interpreted by Julien Guiomar, names Fechner, a wink at the same time with the true producer of true film, and at the same time a pastiche of the practice of Hitchcock to appear on the contrary, him, in person in his films and like simple appear!

Christian Fechner always has a cigar with the hand but it does not smoke about it any more since years. After having produced many feature film, Christian Fechner presents in 2006 " Voix" its first short film carried out by Karine De-salts.
