Christian Blanc

Christian Blanc (May 17th 1942 with Talence, the Gironde) is a man Politique French. Related deputy UDF then New Center of the Third district of Yvelines since 2002, he is vice-president of the Nouveau Center within his provisional organization. It is one of the rare deputies resulting from the world of the company, it thus directed the the RATP, Air France or Merrill Lynch France.

Biography

It is born in the Gironde and carries out its studies with Bordeaux with the Montesquieu College then integrates the Institut of political studies of Bordeaux. At the end of its schooling he is president of MNEF between 1964 and 1965. He becomes inter alia organizer of the base of leisures of Saint-Quentin-in-Yvelines at the beginning of years 1970. He joined then between 1974 and 1978 the team of restoration of the political life around the Socialist Michel Rocard. From 1981 to 1983 he is principal private secretary of Edgard Pisani, European Commissioner, then police chief of the Republic of the Hautes-Pyrénées in 1983-1984 and general secretary of the New Caledonia in 1983-1985.

He obtains increasingly important stations and is named prefect of Seine-et-Marne in 1985, until 1989 when he resigns to assume the chairmanship of the state enterprise the RATP. There there will remain three years and resign when, in 1992, the government refuses to support it to found the Minimum service in the company.

He becomes chairman of Air France of 1993 with 1997 whereas the company passes through an serious attack. He animates the recovery of the company and contributes to his rectification. He resigns while putting forward a strategic dissension with the Minister for transport, Jean-Claude Gayssot, on the rate/rhythm of his modernization. He invests himself then in Action against the Hunger of which he is administrator between 1999 and 2001, period during which he chairs two Start-up S.

He becomes president of the Banque of businesses Merrill Lynch France between 2000 and 2002, year when he is elected appointed in the Third district of Yvelines. He makes countryside under the label of his movement, democratic Énergies, and joined like related the benches of the group UDF. In 2006, it calls with the resignation of Jacques Chirac to speed up the reforms and to finish some with the opposition to progress. The same year it launches with Alain Lambert (UMP) and Jean-Marie Bockel (PS) a “committee of action for the modernization of France”, in favor of a modernization total and coherent economy and French company, while insisting on the danger of the debt and the need for the growth. It takes part in the Pébereau Commission which points out that the French national debt rises to 2.000 billion €.

In 2007, it supports Nicolas Sarkozy with the first turn of the presidential election and joined the Nouveau Center at the time of the legislative elections. It is one of the vice-presidents.

He is president of the political movement Democratic Energies and founder of Energies2007. He founded association citizen " The Friend Public".
