Christian-François Ier de Lamoignon

Christian-François Ier de Lamoignon (1654-1709) was a French magistrate.

Oldest son of the president Guillaume Ier de Lamoignon, it was named president with mortar of the Parlement of Paris in 1690.

He liked like his father to be surrounded men of letters, and was dependant with Bourdaloue, Boileau, Racine and Regnard.

It is with him that the 6th epistle of Boileau is addressed. It was Académie of the inscriptions.
