Christalys

Christalys is a group of Metalcore French (Yvelinois) which made its beginnings in 1997.

Then composed of Vince, Nico and Chris the group makes its weapons on resumptions of Metallica.

In 1998 Nico leaves the group to be replaced by Logan.

The group then starts to compose and make small concerts.

One year later Seb makes its arrival and gives a new breath to the group which changes style radically.

It is new Christalys which appears and which connects the first parts (Watcha, Clearcut, Misanthrope - ETHS - Kaizen).

In 2002 the group finally decides to record its first Demonstration with dimensions of Olivier Gaubert (ex-Misanthropist) ingé its at Nihil, at the same Logan time leaves the group to be replaced by Myke.

September 2002 the demonstration is born and delivers a metal/hardcore powerful, effective and influenced by groups such as Sepultura - Machine Head - Black Bomb Ä.

Influences

Each member brings his influences what allows has Christalys to have a sound which would be a crossing between Machine Head (time " burn my eyes" and " the more things change") and Pantera or Chimaira.

  • 2004 : concert with Ambryo and Explicit noise in the village hall of Maurepas (78)

  • 2005 : concert with Zuul fx and the Spirit of the clan in the room of the tower of Neighbors bretonneux (78) the

  • 2006 : concert with Ekat and In disorder with the coffee of the beach of Maurepas (78)

  • 2007 : concert with Sweet Silence and Manimal at the house for all of Clayes under Wood (78)

Anecdote

The singer of the group, Vincent Eustace is the grandson of Jean-Pierre Eustace traditional flutist of reputation and Genevieve Dinand piano teacher.

In two generations one passes from Vivaldi to Metallica!
