Chorion

1.Le chorion , name Greek of the Placenta, is the external envelope of egg. In the mammals, it is in contact with maternal fabrics. The nature of the chorion varies according to the period of the pregnancy.
2.Le chorion defines also subjacent conjunctive fabric in a Muqueuse.
First chorion
It is the vitelline Membrane.
Second chorion
It is formed during the way of egg in the horn, and is made of a rather thick agglomerate of Albumine.
Third chorion
It is the vascular chorion, which replaces the second chorion and contains the umbilical vessels.
