Chopard

Chopard is a Swiss mark of jewelry and fine clock industry.

History

Chopard manufacture is founded in 1860 per Louis-Ulysses Chopard with Sonvilier (Swiss). It produces watches and stop watches of precision.

In 1963, the mark is repurchased by Karl Scheufele, an established German clock and watch maker has Pforzheim (Germany) which joins together the two productions under the Chopard mark.

The mark has production units with Meyrin and Fleurier, in Switzerland, and with Pforzheim in Germany.
