Chooz
Chooz (in Walloon: Tchô ) is a common French, located in the department of the the Ardennes and the area Champagne-Ardenne.
Geography
History
- 1958 : beginning of the project of the first engine PWR French
- 1965: startup of the engine of 305 MW
- 1970 - 1980: conflict relating to the construction of two new engines in preparation for the replacement of the first section of 305 MW.
- 1993: stop of the section of 305 MW after 28 years of operation, then beginning of the construction of two engines of 1450 MW
- 1997 - 1998: startup of the two new engines of 1450 MW each one.
