Biography
Chokebore is originating in Honolulu, Hawaii but them Musique has nothing to do with the traditional Musique hawaiienne. During a time, the label Grunge could be coupled in Chokebore, especially because Nirvana, then to its apogee with beginning of the year 90, had given a nudge in the right direction to Chokebore in their making make several first parts of their concerts, in 1993 and 1994. Kurt Cobain went even until saying that Chokebore was its preferred group. But the bonds between Chokebore and the musical movement headlight of Seattle are not marked enough so that one can catalog Chokebore like a group of Grunge.
