Choi Myung-ik
Born in 1903, Choi Myung-ik (최명익) is a writer North-Korean, author in particular of the Historical novel the large Buddhist priest Sosan (Sosan-taesa), recently published in South Korea.
Author also of Poetry S, Choi Myung-ik is one of the most known representatives of the Korean modernistic movement of the Années 1930.
The South Korean foundation Daesan and the association of the Korean writers organized, with Seoul, a conference devoted in particular to Choi Myung-ik, at the time of the centenary of its birth in 2003.
