Use

insulation of demanding germs being cultivated badly on Gélose with blood ( Neisseria , Haemophilus )

Composition

  • tryptic peptone of Casein 7,5 G

  • peptic of meat 7,5 G
  • Starch of corn 1,0 G
  • hydrogénophosphate of potassium 4,0 G
  • dihydrogénophosphate of potassium 1,0 G
  • Sodium chloride 5,0 G
  • Hemoglobin 10,0 G
  • supplement glucose, vitaminized peptone standard Polyvitex 1,0 ml
  • agar 15,0 G
  • pH = 7,2

Preparation

The supplement is added in liquid medium to 45 °C.

Reading

This gélose can be used to show the culture of a Haemophilus in the presence of the Hémine coming from hemoglobin and NAD coming from the supplement.
