Chlamydoselachidae

The family of the Chlamydoselachidae is a family of primitive shark classified until now in the order of the Hexanchiformes. However the fossil and current species of Chlamydoselachidae differ other Hexanchiformes sufficient so that a particular order, Chlamydoselachiformes, were proposed by Shigeru Shirai.

The family of Chlamydoselachidae includes/understands one current kind with only one known species, Chlamydoselachus anguineus . One second species particular to water of Southern Africa east under discussion.
