The Club Deportivo Guadalajara S.A. of C.V. , is a Mexican football club based with Guadalajara in the state of Jalisco. The group Omnilife is owner of the club. It is about the more popular team of Mexico, but he also enjoys a reputation growing within the whole of the American continent, thanks to his two last performances in Copa Libertadores. Its principal rival is the Club América based in the capital of the country, against which the Chivas disputes Clasico more awaited country. Its two other principal adversaries are also based with Guadalajara, the Atlas of Guadalajara as well as the UAG Tecos, with which the club disputes a Clasico Tapatio .
The principal characteristic of this club is to make evolve/move under its shirt only players having a Mexicain passport.
