Chinese chiromancy
The Chinese chiromancy is a discipline belonging to the Chinese traditional Médecine, and which studies the relationship between the hands, their form, their features, and an individual. It is the " art of reading in the mains".
The practitioners of this disciplines consider that there is a direct relationship between the hands of an individual and its life, its past, its state, even its future. By an analysis detailed of the form and features of the palm, they are supposed capacity to determine many elements of the future or last life of an individual. The analysis of the plant of the feet is sometimes associated there.
This discipline is in connection with the Acupuncture, the philosophy of the Yi Jing and the element S.
One distinguishes five thus " formes" hands, associated with the five elements of Chinese philosophy:
- metal hands
- wood hands
- water hands
- hands of fire
- ground hands
With this physiognomic analysis joins a study of the lines of the hand, i.e. the various folds which one can see inside the palm. These lines are divided traditionally into 4 families:
- lines of the sky
- lines of mankind
- lines of the family
- lines of the Earth
Each one of these groups corresponds to a given part of the hand of the patient. There exist characteristic features, which cross these various groups:
- the heart
- success
- the fate
- health
- the life
To finish, the fingers and the palm of the hand are divided into zones. The presence of characteristic formations (stars, hole, wound, square…) is supposed to inform the palmist about a particular field of the personality and life of its patient.
