Childéric II
Childéric II is the king of the Francs of Austrasie of 663 with 673 then king of all the Francs of 673 with 675. He was born towards 655. He is the son junior by the king Clovis II and the queen Bathilde. He reaches the throne at the 8 years age. As he was minor during the beginning of his reign, the regency of the capacity is exerted by its adviser, the duke Vulfoald. In 673, after the deposition of his/her brother Thierry III, Childéric unifies the kingdoms Francs of Neustrie and Austrasie under its sceptre. In the forest of Livry, with his/her friends Ingobert and Amalbert, Bodilo kills king Childéric and his wife the queen Bilichilde then pregnant. They address an embassy in Austrasie at Childéric. This one comes in company of the duke Vulfoald and they put it at the head of all the kingdom. It is that king Childéric soft and was extremely carried. In its turn, it pushed the nation of the Francs to the revolt, dishonouring them and scorning them, until a considerable hatred grows among them and causes finally its own dishonor and its fall. While this situation worsened, it ordered, in violation of the law, that noble frankly, named Bodilo, were attached to a post and were coiled blows. This spectacle threw the Francs in a violent anger, they were well Ingobert and Amalbert as well as other notable francs which formentèrent the revolt against Childéric.
