Chiemgau
The Chiemgau is an area in Bavaria, with the foot of the Alps. It extends around more the big lake of Bavaria, the Chiemsee, called the “Bavarian sea”, with 80 km ² of surface.
The most important cities of Chiemgau are Rosenheim and Traunstein. In much of villages there are folk associations which deal of the habits, the costumes and the dances traditional of this picturesque area. The mountains make it possible in winter to make ski and summer of the excursions, climbing and Parapente.
