Chick and Puffing (history)

Chick and Poussif is the first of the three stories of the series of Cartoon Poussin and Poussif .

Synopsis

In this short history of thirty-two boxes, the parents of Poussin entrust their baby to the dog Poussif during its nap. Irritated, Poussif awaits the departure of his/her parents to tie its cloths and thus to go down from its pram by this cord of fortune. It descends then the staircases then flees of the house.

Poussif is put at its continuation and crosses the street by missing little its making crush by a car. It enters a store where the baby has just entered, but it is made return of a kick in the rear-axle unit. At this time, a lady takes Poussin in its arms, believer whom it is lost.

Poussif tries second once to penetrate in the store but it is made return same manner. It is thrown then on the watchman and the pants bite to him. Once in the store, he sees Poussin at the office of the lost objects, where nice ladies give him to eat. The dog then takes it on its back and returns to the house with him, where the baby goes up in the pram. Poussif thus takes a well deserved rest, when the parents return and tell him " let us go lazy!. The nap is finished! … "

Publications

This history was published first once in the newspaper Tintin (Belgian) n°35 in 1957. It was published in album well later, in 1998, in the Files Goscinny, Volume I .
