Chicago is a Musical comedy of Bob Fosse and Fred Ebb, with a music of John Kander, and words of Fred Ebb.
The history is based on a Play of Maurine Dallas Watkins, it even inspired by a fact various which took place in 1924 with Chicago.
Chicago was assembled for the first time in 1975.
In 2002, the musical comedy is adapted out of film: Chicago .
In 2003, Chicago is assembled to Montreal, with Anthony Kavanagh in the role of the lawyer Billy Flynn.
In 2004, Chicago is assembled to the Casino of Paris, by a Québécois troop with French words of Laurent Ruquier, based on the English original words that one had translated for him. The decorations and the costumes are reduced to the strict minimum, the absence of orchestra pit obliges the orchestra to occupy of the place to the back of the scene, but the songs and choreographies are quite present. At the end of 3 months Anthony Kavanagh replaces Stephan Rousseau in the role of lawyer.
