Chester Brown

Chester Brown is an author of cartoons born on May 16th, 1960 with Montreal with the Canada, of English expression.

It is very representative of the independent cartoon, in particular in the field of the autobiographical account. It was then devoted to the biography as a cartoon of a figure of the Canadian history, Louis Riel. It started with autoéditer ( minicomics ) and then worked for the Canadian editor Drawn and Quarterly.

It maintains the bonds of friendship with the authors of cartoons Joe Matt and Seth, of the stable Drawn & Quarterly also.
