Chersonèse of Thrace

During Antiquity, the Chersonèse of Thrace is an under-area of the Thrace, located on European bank of the Hellespont (current strait of the Dardanelles). Miltiade Old the, exiled voluntarily with the advent of Pisistrate, founded an Athenian colony there.
