Cherasco

Cherasco is a common of the Province of Coni in the Piedmont in Italy.

History

April 25th, 1796, the city was taken by the French troops ordered by the general-in-chief Napoleon Bonaparte. An armistice was signed there the 28 between the general Baron of the Tower and the colonel Lacoste, representatives of Victor-Amédée III, king of Sardinia on the one hand and Napoleon Bonaparte of the other. Final peace was signed in Paris on May 15th, 1796.
