Chennai
Chennai or Madras (old denomination) is the capital of the State of the Tamil Nadu in the India of the south. The name of Madras came from an important institute Musulman or Médersa (Arab madrasa ). It is at the origin of the Madras, a fabric manufactured locally.

History

A great number of visitors come in Chennai during the months from December-January, which are the period of the festival of carnatic music, known under the name of “Music Season”.
Climate
