Checkpoint (video game)
CheckPoint is an English term used in some video games, it is translated into French by " not contrôle" , " not passage" , or " stage obligatoire".
Some sets of races (and more particularly the plays of arcade) comprises circuits with checkpoints. These races with stages, to be succeeded, force the player to cross these doors in the order and a given time.
In the plays of action, the checkpoints are regarded as points of resurrection. When the character dies, this last cost with the last checkpoint crossed. That is perhaps minimalist with the first access, but the checkpoint has a great influence over the lifespan of the play. Indeed, a play without checkpoint will be much more difficult than a play with checkpoints because the less there is checkpoints, plus the error has chances to make us return at the beginning of the level.
