Chaval

Chaval (1915 - 1968) is a Dessinateur Humoriste.

Biography

Chaval, from its true name Yvan Louarn , was born with Bordeaux the February 10th 1915.

It is only in the years 1950 that Chaval knows notoriety. It draws then in many newspapers with great pulling where its shifted humor is variously appreciated. It obtains in 1953 the International Coupe of the Best Draftsman . Using Word games and Pun S, its Dessin S is filled of derision. it is also a leading illustrator of talent, to see French Club of the book.

Also impassioned cinema, he films without stop all and anything. He will carry out itself several short films in particular poor Conte and the birds are idiots . His/her friend Mario Ruspoli will carry out two short films on him after his death: " Chaval" and " Chavalanthrope".

It Suicide in Paris the January 22nd 1968.
