Chauveheid

Chauveheid is a Hameau of the entity of Chevron located in the commune of Stoumont.

Classified site

Chauveheid is known for its pretty vault Saint-Gilles of XIe century whose site was classified in 1944. During centuries, one added to this vault a small part in order to allow the inhabitants of Froidville to also shelter during the offices; indeed, when those arrived, the vault was already filled by the inhabitants with Chauveheid. The neighborhoods of the vault being classified, only, of the stone-built houses of the country and meeting the urban standards can be built there. The last achievements in this direction are a great success.
