Chauncey Billups

Chauncey Ray Billups (born the September 25th 1976 with Denver in the Colorado) is a professional player of Basket-ball evolving/moving at the post of leader in the club of the Detroit Pistons in NBA.

Regarded a long time as a globe trotter (it passes by five different clubs at the time of its first four seasons), Billups found his place within the Detroit Pistons with which it gained the championship of the NBA in 2004 and Meilleur player titrates it finales this same year. Biography

It remains in Raptors only until the end of the season, before being sent in January 1999 to the Denver Nuggets, the club of its birthplace, in an exchange with three teams. Decreased by the wounds, and blocked behind Nick Van Exel, Billups is sent to the Orlando Magic in February 2000 with Ron Mercer against Chris Gatling and Tariq Abdul-Wahad. Wounded, he will never play for Magic and leaves the club to sign with the Minnesota Timberwolves where there remain two years, before again signing like free Agent with the Detroit Pistons, where he starts again his career definitively: hitherto anonymous player and not having held the hopes placed in him, it carries out the best season of his career with Detroit with 16,2 points of average per match.

He is the Co-captain of a team which gains against any waiting championship NBA 2004 vis-a-vis the Los Angeles Lakers, by recording a personal average of 21 points and 5 decisive master keys per match at the time of these finales, being worth to him to be elected MVP of these same finales.
