Chassepot model 1866
The Chassepot model 1866 is a rifle French Army brought into service in 1866 and which was useful in particular during the war free-Prussian of 1870. It was probably also used in the contemporary colonial wars like during the revolt of the people of Paris (1871) and the birth of transitory the Commune as Paris. He is baptized name of his creator Antoine Alphonse Chassepot.
