Chart of reception TV TSR in France

This chart of reception technical, indicative, gives visual information on the zones (green) in which it is possible to collect more or less well in France the two chains of the French-speaking Switzerland Télévision, TSR 1 and TSR 2, with antenna S adapted to the emitted Fréquence S, VHF I and III and UHF. The scale of the chart does not make it possible to mention the existence of hertzian local remote regions (especially in UHF).

The assembly of a Préamplificateur of antenna is sometimes useful in the badly released sites, i.e. in weak field. The presence of a channel (frequency) local, identical or adjacent, can prohibit the reception of the chains of the TSR. The local interferences (parasitic industrialists and servants) especially noticed and penalizing in urban area and on the channel 4:00 (signal < 40/50 dB), are not indicated.

Digital terrestrial television

Since June 2005, Swiss TNT being diffused by the transmitter of Barillette (massive of Pares It, Vaud) it is possible to receive in more this multiplexing, C 34V in the zones concerned. The transmitting TV Basle C 31V, is in service since at the end of May. The transmitters Ordons and of Chasseral C56 V, as well as the near total of the French-speaking Switzerland, except notable for Were worth, were brought into service at the end of December 2006.

The antenna operational UHF into analogical is in theory usable numerically, but its polarization can be reversed, it is necessary thus to place it vertically (vertical bits). The not-modification of the plan of polarization involves an attenuation of signal of -20 dB.

The stop the analogical diffusion, the June 25th 2007, deprived definitively certain televiewers of the Swiss programs particularly those living in country of Savoy, connected on famous channel 4 more adapted to the difficult characters (obstacles) that channels TNT UHF. It is the case with Annecy where the Swiss TNT is generally incaptable.
