The commune of Charny the Baccalaureat is an old village which shelters several families of which the family DANTON since several centuries.
Among the many descendants of this family which essaimé through all the department and even all France, one counts the famous conventional one, Georges Jacques Danton, born not far, in Arcis on Aube.
