Charnett Moffett is a Musicien of Jazz American born the June 10th 1967. He plays of the Contrebasse and the low . Its first name is the contraction of the first name of his/her father Charles and that of Ornette - first name of the Saxophoniste of jazz Ornette Coleman with which his/her father Charles Moffett played as a Percussionniste.

Charnett Moffett accompanied by the musicians of jazz such as Ornette Coleman, McCoy Tyner, Kenny Garrett, Mulgrew Miller, Courtney Pine, Arturo Sandoval, and Sony Sharrock. He is member of the Manhattan Jazz Quintet , the Moffett Family Band and the McCoy Tyner Trio .
