Charly Gaul

Charly Gaul , born the December 8th 1932 with Pfaffenthal (Luxembourg) and deceased the December 6th 2005 with Luxembourg, was a racing cyclist. Called Climbing winged the , the Angel of the mountain , its lieutenant was Marcel Ernzer. It is recognized to have been one of largest climbing of the century, and particularly appreciated the bad weather conditions, in which it managed to widen gigantic gaps and to upset the general classification of the turns of Italy or France.

It spends professional in May 1953 at Terrot. It disputes its last professional season in 1965.
