Charlotte of Savoy

Charlotte of Savoy (1440 - 1483), girl of Louis Ier, duke of Savoy and prince de Piémont and of Anne of Cyprus-Lusignan, it marries the dolphin Louis de France, future Louis XI, the November 14th 1451, which in spite of its virtues neglected it. It gave him eight children of which only three lived: the future Charles VIII; Anne of France (future Anne de Beaujeu and regent of the kingdom) and Jeanne de France - future wife of Louis XII.

After a solitary life, Charlotte dies out on December 1st, 1483 with Amboise, a few months only after her husband. She is buried in Notre-Dame de Cléry, in Orléanais.
