Charlie Eppes

Charlie Eppes , played by David Krumholtz, is one of the main characters of the televised series NUMB3RS, a young mathematician and mathematics professor steady in imaginary Institut of Sciences of California CalSci.

As mathematician, it helps his brother Don Eppes to solve many businesses of the FBI, sometimes helped of close friends and colleagues, the imaginary physicist Larry Fleinhardt or its imaginary coed Amita Ramanujan. It has been also consulting with NSA for approximately five years (compared to the first episode).

According to his father, it would have been able to mentally multiply the numbers with four digits at the three years age. Young wonder, it entered to the Université of Princeton at the 13 years age and published its first article of mathematics at 14 years.

It is its imaginary article on the convergence of Eppes on the asymptotic properties of the random matrices which made it famous. He would have then worked on the zeros of the “random orthogonal polynomials”.
