Charlie Barr (1864 - 1911) is a Scottish navigator , then naturalized American in 1899.

In 1903, he is the cox of the mythical sailing ship Reliance with which he gains the trophy of this 12th edition of the Coupe of America. It had already gained the trophy by twice in 1899 and 1901, establishing the first record, had equalized since by Harold Vanderbilt and recently Russell Coutts.
