Charles de Robillard de Beaurepaire

Charles Marie de Robillard de Beaurepaire , born the March 24th 1828 with Avranches and dead the August 12th 1908 with Rouen, is a Architecte and Archiviste - Paléographe French.

Older brother of the Historian Eugene de Robillard de Beaurepaire, it liked better, whereas all the most legitimate ambitions were allowed to him, faithful to the Normandy, that all its career proceeds with Rouen. Left the School of the Charters in February 1851, it is named, the next month, archivist with the Departmental records of the Seine-Lower the March 31st. It was to remain it until in 1905.

Charles de Robillard de Beaurepaire was also a founding member of the Société of the Norman bibliophiles and Société of the history of Normandy. The Académie of Rouen admitted it in its rows in 1853. Promoted with the rank of knight of the Legion of honor in 1868, it is named corresponding Institut in 1871.

Charles de Robillard de Beaurepaire published more than five hundred work.
