Charles de Gaulle - Star (subway of Paris)
Charles de Gaulle - Star is a station of the lines 1, 2 and 6 of the Métro of Paris; it is located at the limit of the 8 {{E}}, 16 {{E}} and 17 {{E}} districts of Paris.
The station
The station Star was only open the 1 {{er}} September 1900, after line 1; the first times, the trains passed non-stop there.The February 21st 1970, just after the opening of the RER, the station, as the place, changes name for the current one, Charles de Gaulle - Star .
The various quays were built under the northern part of the Place Charles-of-Gaulle, in top of the Avenue of the Fields-Élysées:
- lines 1 and 2 have usual stations with two quays;
- the terminus of line 6 is a loop under the place. The station is coupled in the south of that of line 1; it consists of one quay to the left of the train for the descent of the passengers, and a quay on the right for the rise. The trains set out again immediately to make a longer stop at the station Kléber.

Cinema
The film the Magi of Bernard Campan and Didier Bourdon (2001) puts in scene the three magi returned on ground after two thousand years: on the track of star, they end up discovering the newborn which they seek in the corridors of the station Charles de Gaulle - Star .
